This Friday will see the official opening of the 43rd annual Lennon Festival in Ramelton.
There have been weeklong celebrations leading up to the official launch, including today’s events: a fun raft race that will take place this evening at 6:30pm from the Quay, and a fashion show in the Town Hall by local designer Liam Grier and St. Vincent DePaul Shop, at 8:30pm.
The festivities get going officially at 8pm on Friday, when Dessie Gallagher performs the opening ceremony at Gamble’s Square.
Monday the 9th July is the official end of the festival, which will see a closing ceremony take place at Gamble’s Square at 8:30pm.
Everyone is encouraged to come along and participate in the festival, which promises to be a spectacular event, in a beautiful location.
