This Saturday 4th August, marks the start of the 45th annual Clonmany Festival.
Billed as a family festival, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before!
Attractions include one of the biggest line-ups of Irish Country and Folk music, which will certainly provide great entertainment and fun, for all ages throughout the week long festival.
The BIG news is that one Mr Donegal, or as he is better known, Daniel O'Donnell, will be in attendance performing on Sunday 5th at 9pm.
This really is a coup for Clonmany, as Daniel is only performing twice in Ireland this year, and the people of Clonmany are thrilled that one of those will be at their great festival!
Throughout the week there will be numerous fun events for all ages, including music workshops, cycling, soccer, GAA, scenic walks, a Tug-O-War, raft races and many many more events!
A festival favourite, the Agricultural Show and Sheep Dog Trials will be making its return, and festival goers will be treated to some great activities to watch, and participate in.
Event organisers wish to point out that this really is a community festival, with proceeds going back into the community, in particular facilities like Market House, Clonmany Youth & Community Centre, Shamrock Park, Diffley Gardens have all benefiting from festival funding in recent years.
The festival runs until Sunday 12th August, and all are encouraged to visit the picturesque town and help celebrate Clonmany annual festival!
