Britton finishes 4th

Fionnuala Britton has finished 4th in the European Championships 10,000 event in Helsinki this afternoon. Britton was leading in the early stages and lead with 11 laps to go, but Portugals Felix broke away to claim gold. Britton has strong Donegal connections as both of her grandparents hail from the Ballintra area of the county.
She will now concentrate on the Olympic Games next month.
