Donegal finalist at National Care Awards

Liam Deeney has been announced as a finalist at the Nursing Home Ireland Care Awards 2012!

Mr Deeney, who currently works in Brentwood Manor Nursing Home in Convoy, has been nominated in the Nursing Home Innovation Award category.

Mr Deeney received over 300 nominations for the award and as a result he is one of three finalists in this particular category, and one of 24 finalists nationwide.

The Nursing Home Innovation Award that Liam has been put forward for is open to all NHI registered nursing homes. It was established to commend the innovative advancements in nursing homes and to recognize the role that nursing homes play in developing new forms of residential care.

Over 400 people are expected to attend the ceremony, which takes place on November 15th in the Citywest Hotel in Dublin. RTE presenter Marty Whelan will MC the event.
