In a move that goes against his previous actions, Donegal manager, Jim McGuinness, named his starting XV for Sunday’s Ulster Senior Football Championship Final against Down last night.
The squad has remained essentially unchanged, with a role for Leo McLoone being the only note worthy alteration.
A result of Neil Gallagher being injured, McLoone’s inclusion will see him take up a forward position, most likely a left half forward, whilst Ryan Bradley will fill Gallagher’s midfield spot.
Things are hotting up for this Sunday’s match, and everyone in Donegal is hoping that the Anglo-Celt Cup returns for a second year to make history!
Donegal’s Starting XV:
P Durcan, P McGrath, N McGee, F McGlynn; E McGee, K Lacey, A Thompson; R Bradley, R Kavanagh; D Walsh, L McLoone, M McHugh; P McBrearty, M Murphy, C McFadden.
Substitues:
M Boyle, M McElhinney, M Boyle, T McKinley, C Toye, S Griffin, D McLaughlin, M O'Reily, D Molloy, D Walsh, A Halon
