Local kickboxing club, Kickboxing LK has formally announced a huge event featuring 3 Irish title fights!
This marks the club’s second promotion, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 13th October.
The night in question is set to be a huge night of kickboxing action, where fans will be spoilt by a plethora of great fights; where they will see some of the top local fighters compete against the some of the country’s finest.
Representing Kickboxing LK, Lifford fighter, Ronnie Brennan will be defending his recently acquired WKA Irish –60kg title, whilst Brian Crossan; the highly rated fighter/runner/local personality; challenges for the Irish WKA –78Kg title against current champion Gerard Doran.
Last but not least, Derek Walker will be challenging Dungannon’s Johnny Kerr for the WKA Irish –67Kg title. Derek has already faced off against Kerr, and narrowly missed out on a points decision in their last meeting. Derek is eager to even the tally and claim another title for Kickboxing LK!
Further to this, there will be a Letterkenny versus the best of rest taking place, where clubs from across the country will be sending their most talented fighters to face off against Kickboxing LK’s finest in a action packed undercard.
All in all it is shaping up to be a spectacular event; that could see Letterkenny claim some of the kickboxing world’s prestigious titles!
The event takes place on Saturday 13th October, at the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny.
