It would seem that the countrywide weather warnings for heavy rain and flooding will miss Donegal and most of Northern Ulster, meaning the county will get the best of the weather for once this weekend.
Forecasts for Friday indicate that there will be heavy showers and possible flooding in the majority of Ireland, with Dublin receiving some of the worst showers for the weekend.
Anyone traveling outside of Donegal and the North is advised to prepare for wet conditions and possible flooding around areas located close by rivers etc…
Light showers are expected for Donegal today and tomorrow; however, they will be light and sporadic. The humid weather should continue well into next week
