Donegal based and internationally acclaimed singer songwriter Marian Bradfield is doing a comeback on the stage next Thursday week, October 9, to help raise funds for St Patrick’s New Parish Centre.
The show starts at 8pm and this is the first time in eight years Marian will be on stage performing some songs from her repertoire.
Nominated for Ireland’s prestigious IRMA awards, critics have said that Marian “traces the magic of our dreams and the pain of the often hidden struggle to reveal them."
Proceeds from the raffle will be going towards the centre.
Marian told the Post that she was looking forward to the evening and to be participating in the fundraiser.
The new parish centre, which opened its doors last July 2013, has become a hub of activity for Donegal Town’s people hosting this year’s local elections and various events such as the Christmas Craft Fair and upcoming photographic exhibition.
