An action packed festival weekend is planned for Pettigo and Tullyhommon this August Bank Holiday weekend.

The weekend commences this Friday, August 1 at the new Termon Complex with music from the ever-popular Paul Kelly alongside special guest Farrah Bogle from 9pm. The Crowning of the Termon Queen will take place at 10pm with MC for the night the very funny Declan Colton who will no doubt ensure there is plenty of banter!

A Traditional Old Time Fair Day takes place on Saturday, August 2 from 10am to 4pm with a farmers market, car boot sale and craft fair. Music by Vida Loca and traditional dance throughout the afternoon. There will be a miniature Aircraft display demonstration in the Centre.

To keep the little ones entertained a children’s disco will coincide with the music from 2pm to 4pm in the Termon Centre.

Saturday evening Hypnotist Adrian Knight takes to the stage at 8:30pm to mesmerize the crowd!

Sunday promises to be a fun filled day for all the family starting with Moybrone Pipe Band leading the Children’s Fancy Dressand Floats at 2pm from the Termon Complex. Guest appearance from Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Peppa Pig! This will be followed by an action packed family fun day with a wide range of activities to suit everyone. Entertainment on offer includes Jumping Jesters, Puppets and Puppeteers, Circus Skills Workshops, Bouncy castles, Last Man Standing Obstacle Course, Sumo Wrestling and Face Painting not to forget plenty of fun games!

There will be live music on The Diamond at 6pm by the ever popular Garth Brooks Tribute Band, Johnny Brooks (who we can guarantee will not cancel!).

To round the weekend off in style Rockhill Ramblers will take to the stage in the Termon Centre at 10pm. This five piece band hail from Co Donegal and play everything from The Saw Doctors to The Dubliners and of course some New Age Trad.

Traditional home baked treats and light refreshments will be available throughout the weekend.
