It’s all system go for the annual Donegal Town Summer Festival. 

The event kicked off on Thursday night and organisers reported an enthusiastic welcome for the annual event. It was the same on Friday night with music filling the air.

On Saturday there is a packed programme of events at the local Abbey Vocational School as well as an air and sea rescue display hosted by the Donegal Bay Rowing Club.

One of the highlights on Sunday comes when Voice of Ireland star Paddy Molloy from Glenties takes to the stage on the Diamond at 6pm followed by a Garth Brooks tribute band, ‘Friends in Low Places’
