The annual Ardara Bluegrass Festival, taking place from this Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20 promises some big names from the entertainment world heading to town to provide top quality entertainment and great craic over the course of the weekend.
A feast of Bluegrass music with concerts, street and pub sessions, Ardara Bluegrass Festival is now in its seventh year going from strength to strength with the best of American and Irish artists.
The festival is set to attract an audience of a few hundred with jamming sessions during which local musicians are free to join in.
Friday will see the arrival of bands from the Czech Republic, the USA, Belfast and Armagh with jamming sessions will follow.
On Saturday, along with bands playing in various pubs, a special family day will also take place at The Rectory on the Killybegs Road from 2pm to 6pm.
A BBQ with bands performing Bluegrass tunes, will allow for families to come and gather in the peaceful surroundings of the place and enjoy a day out together.
After all-day sessions, the Bluegrass Festival will come to an end on Sunday.
