There will be information sessions next Wednesday in the Lifford area for anyone who is interested in becoming involved with the Border Roads to Memories and Reconciliation project.

The information sessions will be held in the following areas:

The Old Courthouse, The Diamon, Lifford, 10.00am – 12.00pm, 21st May

Strabane/Lifford Women’s Centre, 11 Railway Street, Strabane, 2.00pm – 4.00pm, 21st May

Based in Monaghan the project covers all of the border roads from Muff, Co. Donegal to Omeath, Co. Louth. The project is focusing on the Donegal/Derry border for the next month.

Anyone in the local area who has old photographs of the border roads or newspaper articles is welcome to bring them along to the information session, where they will be scanned and returned on the day.
