Would you like to travel the world and be an ambassador for Donegal?
If so, Miss Ireland wants to hear from you!
Last year’s Miss Ireland winner was stunning Lauren McDonagh from Buncrana, who went on to represent Ireland at the Miss World competition which was held in China.
Now the search is on to see who her replacement will be, and whether the next Miss Donegal will also be crowned Miss Ireland.
“We are looking for girls aged 17-27 and we are aiming to keep the Miss Ireland crown in Donegal,” a spokesperson explained.
This year’s Miss Donegal final will be held in Dillon’s Hotel, Letterkenny on Friday, May 25.
However, the selection process has already begun.
Those who have already applied are being asked to come to Dillon’s Hotel this Sunday, May 13 from 4.00–7.00pm.
They are required to bring a had and shoulders photo, and a short biography to present to the organisers.
Entries now open for Miss Donegal 2018, to enter simply private message us with your name, age and contact number and we will be in touch.
The closing date for entries is this evening - Thursday, May 10.
