Doneyloop Youth Club: Living On A Shoestring is a Free 3 Week Cookery Course facilitated by Wendy Long, Millstone Cookery Course commencing Wednesday 28th May 2014 in Doneyloop Youth Club from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. This course will focus on the preparation and cooking of healthy, nutritious meals while on a budget. Wellbeing in the Garden: CPI are delighted to announce that with the support of the HSE Health Promotion Unit we will be hosting a wellbeing in the garden day on Wednesday 21st May. 11:30 – 12:30pm, Composting in the Garden, 12:30 – 1:30, Community Chef and 2:00pm – 3:00pm: Beekeeping and its benefits. St. Vincent de Paul Golf Classic: St. Vincent de Paul is organising a Golf Classic Tournament on Sunday the 13th of July at the Strabane Golf Club in aid of the Castlefinn Conference. Tidy Towns Cleanup: A meeting of the Tidy Towns Cleanup committee will be meeting at the St Vincent de Paul centre in Castlefinn on Monday the 19th at 6.30pm. All Volunteers Welcome.
Robert Emmet’s Club Notes
First of all, As always the club appreciates all the support delivered by the community throughout the year.
It all helps to keep the club running during the year and all involvement or generosity is recognized in the club for the contribution to the clubs improvement and continued success in providing the youth of the community with such excellent facilities and enjoyment.
The club would also like to take a moment to congratulate all the children in the parish who made their First Communion at the weekend. We hope it was an enjoyable occasion for all involved.
Training continues this week as per schedule for all underage after being postponed at the weekend in order for first communion proceedings in the parish.
Senior men and minors continue to train Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.
Friday 2nd 6-12-22-23. No winner of the €100 this week. Jackpot this week is €3950.
Books plus sheet is 6stg or 7 euro bingo at 9 pm. Bingo snowball next week is €2580.
