Friday the 13th was a lucky day for some, with four Marine Harvest Ireland (MHI) employees celebrating their 25-year employment milestone with the company.

With a combined 100 years of service between them, Jim Callaghan, James Friel, Ray McGrory and Patrick G Shiels, were each congratulated on the for having achieved 25 years’ experience with MHI last week.

All four employees are based in the Fanad peninsula.

Jim Callaghan and James Friel work in the company’s Net Station department while Ray McGrory works with the Mechanical Team in Kindrum and Patrick G Shiels works in the marine site in Glinsk.

Jan Feenstra, Managing Director of MHI said: “All four of these men have made extremely valuable contributions to the development and success of Marine Harvest in Ireland.

“We are very lucky to have the depth of experience that comes with the long service of these employees and overall we now have 52 employees with 25 years’ service or more working with Marine Harvest Ireland.”
