Belfast based songster Duke Special will headline the first ever Swell Festival on Arranmore Island off the coast of Donegal this coming July (11th – 13th)

The Duke, a.k.a Peter Wilson, will take to the stage alongside Indie folksters Farriers, the Emerald Aramada and Wood Burning Savages, as well as the very best of Donegal bands including Hotpress Play on the Day winners ‘In their Thousands’, Rosie Carney, The Heads of State, and Mark Black & the Trips.

The inaugural Swell Festival will form part of this year’s Earagail Arts Festival, it is a not-for-profit music and arts festival which has been developed by a number of like-minded individuals from the Donegal music and arts scene.

As well as all the fantastic music taking place on the weekend there will be a massive selection of poetry, spoken word, live art, DJs and Sound baths from the “Ardan na Fia” arts stage.

Swell Festival will be located at the Arranmore Holiday Village, about 1km from the ferry port.
