The Errigal College Parent’s Committee are hosting a Christmas Gift and Craft Fair again this year.

It is taking place in the Errigal College gym from 1.00pm to 4.00pm on Sunday, December 9.

Christmas is approaching fast so this Gift and Craft Fair is an excellent opportunity to buy high quality local products.

One of the highlights of this year’s Craft Fair will be Santa's Grotto. Kids will get to meet Santa and his special helpers, and if the boys and girls have been good this year they will receive a gift from Santa.

Many of Errigal College’s students have been busy in recent weeks designing and producing beautiful craftwork which they hope to sell.

Errigal College Art teacher, Marie Crossan is filled with pride at the high standard of their work.

“They have designed and produced beautiful Christmas wreaths, and have painted some incredibly beautiful wall hangings showing various Christmas and winter scenes,” she said.

Errigal College Principal, Charlie Cannon echoed those sentiments and described some of the other decorations the students have produced.

“Most houses have a Christmas tree and this year our students have produced some wonderful things people can hang on the tree. Some are beautiful and some are funny, and all are high quality,” he said.

Local crafters will also be displaying and selling their handmade creations and commodities, and they are excellent Christmas gifts.

If you want to come along and set up a stall, the cost is €15 per stall.

Refreshments will be made available for customers.

If you want to buy high quality gifts this Christmas, now's your chance!
