Today (Sunday), aerialists participating in this year’s IADF (Irish Aerial Dance Fest) will attempt to break a Guinness World Record.

Fidget Feet will be among other aerialists attempting to break the ‘most people performing aerial silks’ record during the IADF, which takes place today at 4.00pm in the Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny.

The current record is 25 people performing at once, but Fidget Feet are aiming to set a new Guinness World Record with 30.

The event is FREE of charge, so you can view a World Record Attempt in the making at no cost!

An aerialist is an acrobat who performs in the air, on a suspended apparatus such as a trapeze, rope, cloud swing, aerial cradle, aerial silk, or aerial hoop.
