To celebrate the National Day of Street Feasts, Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter invites everyone to join them and thousands of other people around the country in a community feast.

The street feast is open to people of all ages and will celebrate community with music, food and dance.

This event takes place on the Church Lane on Sunday, May 5 and will run from 1.oo pm to 4.00 pm.

The historic area behind Church Street Cycles will be transformed with street decorations, dining tables and a host of street food.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be games, food and live music and DJ Sean Purser.

Local cafes and restaurants in the town are also supporting the event through sponsorship of tasty dishes and Cathedral Quarter are asking people to come join the fun.

A spokesperson said: “Last year, more than 120,000 people took part in 1344 Street Feasts all around Ireland and we’re looking forward to another great event for 2019. It’s a great excuse to eat good food, meet new people and have lots of fun.

Join The Fun

“It’s all about community, diversity and bringing people together, so if you love to cook or play music we’d love everyone to join in the fun, bring a dish too or perform in what's sure to be one of the great outdoor parties of the Summer."
