During May and June there will be four special Music and Friendship Evenings in four different venues at 8.15pm.

Our theme will be ‘Hope in Troubled Times’. Each evening speakers will seek to illustrate how God can help people cope with the unexpected trials and difficulties of life.

The evenings will be informal and there will be talented musicians featuring each evening.

Refreshments will be served and there will be time to talk with friends. Admission is free.

The Parochial Hall, Milford

On Tuesday 30 May there will be an evening of Gospel music with talented singer Neil Shaw who will sing a selection of Favourite Gospel Songs. John Mulhern will speak about the subject, ‘Deliverance from Addiction’.

The Village Hall, Kilmacrenan

On Wednesday 31 May there will be a special evening with William Sayers whose theme will be ‘From Tragedy to Triumph’. William will tell the story of how he lost his arm in a farming accident. He will also sing a selection of Gospel songs.

The Saint Vincent de Paul Centre, Rathmullan

On Thursday 1 June, Graham Murphy, who is a talented musician and singer, will sing some American Gospel Songs. Gerry Burns will speak about the subject, ‘From Hopelessness to Hope’.

Rosnakill Resource Centre

On Friday 2 June Graham Murphy will again sing some American Gospel Songs. John Mulhern will speak about ‘Hope in Troubled Times’.
