The growing numbers of Ireland North West set dancers are keenly looking forward to the Letterkenny Set Dancing Festival which takes places in the Clanree Hotel, Dry Arch, Letterkenny on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - August 29th, 30th, and 31st.

The festival opens with a set ceilí on Friday 29th from 10.00pm - 1.00am, music will be provided by the Duntally Ceilí Band. There is two-hand dance workshop from 11.00am - 1.00pm on Saturday followed by a set-dancing workshop from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in the afternoon. Music is by the famous Glenside Ceilí Band from 10.00pm - 1.00am on Saturday night. The festival closes with an afternoon ceilí from 2.00pm to 5.00pm on Sunday with music by the Duntally Ceilí Band.

Two coach loads are travelling from Galway and the dancers are hoping to give them a hearty Donegal 'Weclome Back Again!'

This year's event hopes to build on the success of last year when over €3,000 was raised for charity. This year all proceeds go to Peru Children's Charity which provides housing and therapy to destitute disabled children and their families in Lima, Peru.

Come along and enjoy the fun!
