As the world gears up to mark the start of the Great War this month, one local woman has been making her own contribution of remembrance.
Hilary Roulston from Newtowncunningham has been working for over two years now to create a record of the Irish men and women who survived and returned from World War I.
With only a small team, that includes herself, another woman from Dublin, and one man helping with IT, they have already gathered the names of over 31,000 veterans from the island of Ireland who served in and survived the war.
