Oakfield Park in partnership with Wainfest Children's Literature Festival is holding a very special Harry Potter Experience.
Taking place all weekend, fans of JK Rowling's hugely popular Harry Potter series are sure to love this event. There will be Harry Potter themed crafts, movies in Buffers, themed candies as well as the chance to sample butter beer. Buffers restaurant will be decked out with a Harry Potter Theme for the weekend.
Visitors will also get the chance to play a refereed game of Quidditch on Donegal's first Quidditch pitch. This will of course be complete with brooms, hoops, quaffles, bludgers and a snitch.
Everyone is invited to come dressed as their favourite characters and take a ride on the Hogwart's Express, though they will have to make sure to avoid the Dementors and Nearly Headless Nick.
Oakfield Park is in Raphoe. There is no booking required for this event and no additional cost, just entry to the park as normal, (adults: €8, children: €5 and under 3’s go free).
