The provisional fixture list for next year’s National Football League has been published – and Declan Bonner’s Donegal will begin life back in Division Two with a trip to face Clare on Sunday, January 27th.
Their first home game will be against Meath on Saturday, February 2nd, in Ballybofey under the floodlights with a 7.00 pm throw-in.
They are then away to Tipperary – who were promoted from Division Three last year - before a home game against Rory Gallagher’s Fermanagh.
And then it’s Armagh at home, away to Cork at home and finally a home fixture against Kildare.
The leagues will follow the same schedules as last year.
As St Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday in 2019, all football fixtures have been fixed for Saturday, March 16 but that is open to change if counties, by agreement, wish to play on Sunday or even Bank Holiday Monday.
See this week's Letterkenny Post for the full fixture list.
