One of the most well known GAA clubs in Donegal is on the look-out for a new senior team manager.

The 2018 Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon senior manager James O'Donnell told the club executive that he and his management team are standing down and will not be seeking reappointment.

James and his back room team had great success over his term as manager.

He steered the club from Division 2 to Division 1 after ten years out of the top flight. He also took us to the team to this year's intermediate county final for the first time since 2012.

Senior football has improved greatly under his watch.

The club wishes James and all the members of the back room team all the best into the future.

It is now inviting expressions of interest in the post of senior manager. Those interested can email [email protected].

Commented the club PRO: "The past year showed we didn't look out of place in Division 1. We have an exciting young team and there are great hopes for the 2019 season, so it's a great opportunity for an ambitious manager."
