Donegal are through to the Allianz National Football League Division 2 Final.
This afternoon at Fr. Tierney Park in Ballyshannon they breezed past a poor Kildare side to win by 13 points.
If finished: Donegal 1-20, Kildare 0-10.
Donegal led by nine points to no score after 19 minutes in the first half with the elements behind them.
By the break - with Oisin Gallen and Niall O'Donnell both impressing - Donegal led by 0-13 to 0-1.
Jamie Brennan got the Donegal goal in the second half.
Kildare lost both Eoin Doyle and Kevin Flynn to black cards.
Frank McGlynn made his first appearance of 2019.
Donegal are promoted along with Meath, who have topped the Division 2 table.
Meath beat Fermanagh by 2-12 to 0-11 in Navan.
The sides now meet in the Division 2 Final next weekend.
Elsewhere in Division 2, Cork beat Armagh by 3-9 (18) to 1-14 (17) but it was not enough to save the Rebel County from the drop to Division 3 while Clare beat Tipperary by 3-15 to 1-19 so the banner county retain their Division 2 status. Tipp are relegated.
