The Donegal Ladies are through to the semi-finals of the Ulster Senior Football Championship.

They defeated Tyrone by 3-13 to 2-12 in their clash at Breffni Park today in the curtain raiser to the men's game.

Donegal led by 2-6 to 0-8 at half-time, with Geraldine McLaughlin and Niamh Hegarty getting the goals.

McLaughlin, who was fouled, got a penalty for the third goal in second half.

Tyrone, to their credit, kept battling and Donegal had to withstand some later pressure but in the end were deserving victors and they now face Cavan on June 15th.
