Battling Donegal are out of the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football Championship.

Appearing in their first ever semi-final, they lost out at Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon where it finished:

Donegal 0-11, Cork 2-11

A goal in each half paved the way for victory as Cork were too good for Donegal.

Cork had the edge in the first half and a goal from Orla Finn put them into a commanding position.

Karen Guthrie scored four of Donegal's five points but at the break they trailed by 1-6 to 0-5.

Cork always had the edge and Doireann O'Sullivan pushed the advantage out to four points at 1-10 to 0-9 with ten minutes to go.

The Rebel County sealed the victory with a late second goal from Saoirse Noonan.

Yvonne Bonner got her first point and Donegal's last as the game went into stoppage time but Cork fully deserved their win.
