The Donegal ladies chalked up a second successive win the the Lidl Ladies National Football League Division One as they outfoxed Mayo in testing, wet conditions in Convoy.
It finished Donegal 3-10, Mayo 2-7.
Fresh from their memorable win over Dublin in Croke Park, Maxi Curran's charges produced another positive display as the good start to the season continued.
Donegal started well with an early Amy Boyle Carr point and Ciara Grant and Geraldine McLaughlin were both unlucky not to score before Mayo got on the board.
Karen Guthrie was once again inspirational for Donegal and her goal put them ahead by 1-4 to 0-2.
Mayo briefly led by two points at one stage but at the break the sides were level at 1-6 apiece with Guthrie getting the last two points of the half for Donegal.
Niamh Kelly, who was sin-binned early on, got the Mayo goal in the first half.
A Grant goal, as she got onto the end of a Guthrie free, helped Donegal to extend their lead out to 2-6 to 1-7 early in the second half.
And they took a big step towards victory 18 minutes into the second half when Termon's Roisin Friel, only just on as a substitute, banged in a third goal to make it 3-7 to 1-7.
Mayo battled hard to get back into the game and Rachel Kearns pulled a goal back for the westerners, but Donegal were too good and went on to win by six points.
