MacCumhaill's notched up their second win as they defeated Killybegs in an absorbing Group D clash in the Donegal SFC at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey to book their place in the last eight.

It finished: MacCumhaill's 3-12, Killybegs 0-15.

The Twin Towns outfit enjoyed a purple patch in the first half that saw three quick goals courtesy of the ubiquitous Oisin Gallen and two from the lively Aaron Kelly.

They led by 3-4 to 0-8 at half-time.

The second half saw Killybegs battling to get back into the contest but the home side won out as the south Donegal team suffered a second successive defeat which means the end of their hopes of getting into the quarter-finals.

Next week MacCumhaill's face Kilcar to decide who tops the group.
