Tonight's Dr. McKenna Cup clash between Donegal and Fermanagh at MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, is on.

Foggy, cold conditions had raised some doubts, but following a pitch inspection it was deemed playable.

Donegal, whose beat Queen's in their first outing last Wednesday, had no match last Sunday as their scheduled meeting with Monaghan was postponed at short notice due to part of the Clones surface still being frozen.

Fermanagh, now managed by former Donegal boss Rory Gallagher, opened their Dr. McKenna Cup account with a win over Monaghan and then edged  out Queen's last weekend.

The top team in each of the three groups goes through, along with the best runner-up.

Donegal are back in action again on Sunday when they go to Monaghan.

The semi-finals will take place next Wednesday.
