St. Eunan's were pipped by a single point as they lost out by 0-8 to 0-7 in the Ulster Under-21 Club Football preliminary round clash against Clan Eireann of Armagh at Kickhams Creggan in Belfast today.

The Armagh side led by 0-5 to 0-3 in a closely contested game.

Conan O'Carroll got the decisive score.

St. Eunan's battled hard but the Clan Eireann side held on for a narrow victory to put them into the quarter-finals against Dromore of Tyrone.

Last year, Gaoth Dobhair won the tournament for the Paddy McLarnon Cup.
