The celebrations have begun in Donegal.

Earlier today, Donegal champions Gaoth Dobhair beat Scotstown of Monaghan by 0-13 to 0-12 to win the AIB Ulster Club Senior Football Championship title after extra-time.

The Donegal league and championship winners came from behind to force the game into extra time at 0-11 each and they then came from behind to snatch victory.

It's the first time since 1975 that the Séamus McFerran Cup has been won by a Donegal side.

The victorious team arrived back into Donegal to a heroes' welcome.

And one of their first ports of call heading back home was into the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, where they were pictured above, along with chief sponsor Terence Diver of Diver's Hyundai in Letterkenny.

Below is a video clip showing the celebrations in Healy Park, which was posted by the club on its facebook page.

The celebrations are set to continue for quite some time.
