Donegal captain Michael Murphy thanked the thousands of Donegal fans who packed into the Diamond in Donegal Town to welcome home the Ulster Champions.

He also praised his fellow players and said they were proud to bring the Anglo Celt Cup back to Donegal.

Donegal claimed the Ulster SFC title with an emphatic 2-18 to 0-12 win over Fermanagh in St Tiernach's Park, Clones. The team stopped off in Pettigo, then went on to Donegal Town for the main homecoming event on Sunday evening.

This is Murphy's fourth time to win an Ulster title. It is the ninth for Donegal.
