A Donegal woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault at Letterkenny Circuit Court this afternoon.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in front of Judge John O'Hagan charged with sexually assaulting a female on two dates unknown between January 1 2005 and December 31 2006.

The woman's defence barrister, Ms Charlotte Simpson, requested legal aid in the case, and said her client was under the care of social worker.

Judge O'Hagan ordered a report from the social worker, and order a probation and welfare reports. The judge also ordered the defendant's suitablity for community service be assessed.

Judge O'Hagan adjourned the case until April for sentencing.
