Another two people have had to be rescued by the Coast Guard after they went out to sea in Supermarket dinghy worth €50.00.
The two men were off Teelin harbour and had only one lifejacket between them.
Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked by the Malin Head Coast Guard to guide the two men, who were in an inflatable unfit for sea, back to safety.
This is the second incident off the Donegal Coast involving supermarket dinghies which the Killybegs Coast Guard has attended.
Members of the general public are urged not to use supermarket bought inflatables, and if they are going out to sea to always have a Vhf radio, mobile phone, and a life jacket on.
