The second cruise ship of the year to visit Killybegs docked at the south Donegal port this morning.

The MS Silver Muse arrived in Killybegs with almost 600 passengers on board.

The new flagship of Silversea Cruises, this luxury cruise ship was delivered in spring of 2017.

Built by Fincantieri of Italy, the 40,700 tonne vessel redefines ultra-luxury ocean travel – enhancing the small-ship intimacy and spacious all-suite accommodations that are the hallmarks of the Silversea experience.

The clip below gives you an insight into the luxrious ship and all its facilties.

Interestingly, Killybegs is one of the last ports of call on its present cruise. After leaving Killybegs it will head north and past Malin Head bound for Dublin.

Silversea's oceanview suites are some of the most spacious in cruising, and all include the services of a butler.

Many of those on board disembarked in Killybegs to go on a variety of organised tours of south Donegal , including destinations like Slieve League.

On Sunday, it will begin a new cruise, from Dublin to Barcelona.
