A major name in retailing is set to open a new store in Donegal on Tuesday.
Iceland, which specialises in frozen and chilled food, is opening a new store in Letterkenny.
And as part of its advertising campaign, it is already thinking ahead to Christmas, as can be seen in this advert that was placed in this week's Letterkenny Post - the biggest circulating paper in the Letterkenny area.
Iceland is one of Britain's biggest supermarket chains and has over 880 stores throughout the UK, and has 15 stores in Ireland.
It's new outlet is located in the Courtyard Shopping Centre in Letterkenny, and will open its doors this Tuesday, July 18th.
The company previously had a store in the same location but it shut when the recession hit and Iceland endured a difficult period in Ireland.
However, the company - like the Irish economy - has bounced back and undergone a period of considerable growth.
The fact that it has chosen to invest and re-open in Letterkenny is a being seen as another vote of confidence in the biggest town in Donegal.
It's opening will also lead to a number of full and part-time jobs in the new store.
Earlier this year, Iceland was named one of the Best Big Companies To Work For in the UK for the 11th consecutive year, retaining the 11th place in the league table it held in 2016.
