A crow that became trapped inside an unoccupied house in Donegal has lived to fly again.

A concerned member of the public recently alerted an inspector with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals after they spotted a bird that appeared to be stuck inside a house.

It is thought that the crow had came down through the chimney and could not find its way out.

With the help of some local residents and Garda, ISPCA Inspector Kevin McGinley was able to successfully retrieve and free the bird.

The ISPCA would like to thank all involved in the rescue.
