The beautiful Solís Lough Eske Castle is the setting for a fashion show that will benefit three local charities.

Run in association with Magee of Donegal, the Cup Cake Fantasy Charity Fashion Show takes place today (Sunday) at 7.30 pm.

This year’s three chosen charities are The Friends Of Bill W Club, the Bluestack Foundation and Animals in Need.

The Friends of Bill W Club is a peer led addiction recovery group. People at any stage of recovery from any addiction benefit from the peer support as well as professional counselling offered by the club which relies heavily on donations.

The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation offers supports and activities for people with additional needs and also for their families. They help children and adults with physical, intellectual, sensory as well as mental health disabilities.

Animals in Need is a leading animal rescue organisation run by volunteers across the county. On top of caring for and rehoming an endless stream of abandoned kittens, the charity rescues dogs from the pound, helps reunite lost dogs with their owners and indeed, deals with a wide range of animal rescues as the need arises.

MC for this evening’s Fashion Show is TV personality Noel Cunningham. Participating shops include Magee of Donegal, Zuba, Get That Trend, Peter’s Man Shop and All Sports.

This is sure to be a very entertaining event and there will be some great prizes up for grabs too.

Tickets cost €20 each and they can be bought from Solís Lough Eske Castle (074) 9725100. More details and updates can be found on the event Facebook page Cupcake Charity Fashion Show.
