What appears to be a dolphin has been spotted in the River Foyle near Lifford.
Strabane based anglish enthusiast Danny Hunter made the discovery while he was walking along the riverbank on Sunday.
Given that the location was around 40 miles from the open sea at the top of Lough Foyle, he was surprised to see a dophin had come so far up the Foyle.
Mr Hunter, who runs local fishery Woodside Angling, told UTV that he was "shocked" with the discovery.
"I heard this breathing noise and at first I thought it was a diver, but then I saw a dolphin swimming in the water," he said.
"It looks like it is trapped and can't get out until the water rises."
His video clip of the dolphin has attracted considerable interest.
