Donegal Connect is a collaborative project between the private and public sector in Donegal aimed at creating new opportunities for the county.

It is hoped that through the project people will be enticed to make the journey  to Donegal to explore the county and to find out why it is a wonderful county to visit, to invest in, to live in and be educated in.

The chief focus is on generating new economic opportunities for Donegal,

Donegal Connect which takes place over a ten day period from September 27th to October 6th 2019 has something for everyone.

With world renowned Donegal artists playing at iconic venues throughout the county, Donegal plays being performed, a range of business, investment and skills symposia with key speakers to walks, runs, island visits and a 7 a-side competition, to workshops on genealogy and the practical “ins and outs” of returning to Donegal there is definitely something for everyone not to mention the unique food experiences being specially organised as part of the project.

Of special note will be a facilitated workshop with Donegal Associations and networks both oversees and within Ireland on Friday, October 4th in the Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey.

Rosina Gallagher who is the president of the Donegal Association in New York, has been talking about the Donegal Connect event.
