European Golf is on a high today after winning the Ryder Cup against the US in Gleneagles.
High point of the victory was the Captain Paul McGinley who was instrumental in their success.
His Donegal calibre is through his father Mick, who is a former Donegal GAA footballer before moving to Dublin.
Another interested spectator was Donegal GAA manager Jim McGuinness and another great captain Michael Murphy was also in attendance.

Most of the team spoke of the meticulous planning that McGinley had engineered over the past two years including world number one Rory McIlroy who canvassed for McGinley for the captaincy at the start of 2013.
