The Co. Donegal Executive of the Irish Farmers' Association has re-elected Michael Chance as its chairman for the year ahead.
The Newtowncunningham farmer was first elected as chairman of the county executive in 2015.
He has served three years and this will now be the last in a four year maximum term.
He was re-elected unopposed at the annual general meeting held in the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny.
The son of the late Major Neville Chance, who was one of the founder members of the organisation, Michael Chance has been involved with the IFA for many years, and has served on a number of national commodity committees.
Brendan McLaughlin is the Vice-Chairman.
There were no changes to any other positions on the county executive.
