The European Commission has launched a public poll on the clock changes (Daylight Savings) that happen twice a year and wither or not they should be scrapped for good.

For the 28 European countries who recognise daylight savings time, clocks go forward one hour in the summer, and back again in the winter.

The purpose of the change is to squeeze extra evening daylight during the warmer months and extra morning daylight throughout our winter months.

The European Commission are looking for public views with an online questionnaire that can be found at:

The survey is open to all European Citizens will remain open until 16 August
