Finn Harps lost more ground on the promotion pack as they were held to a draw by basement club Cobh Ramblers at Finn Park.

After a dreadfully poor first half the second period was more entertaining but in the end a draw was probably a fair outcome.

Cobh lost goalkeeper Shane Hallahan through injury after just two minutes, but his replacement Robert Birdsall made a string of important saves in the second half, notably from Ciaran Coll.

Both sides had chances to win the game in the final quarter but Cobh held on for their first away point of the campaign.
