Rosemary Hastings issued a heartfelt appeal urging the public to keep an eye out for her pet dog, Winston.

Winston disappeared from his home near Clady on the border between counties Tyrone and Donegal between 10pm on Saturday and 7am Sunday last.

He is 6 years old, and suffers from epilepsy and needs his medication urgently.

Winston was wearing a collar which may have been removed.

The family believe Winston was stolen as his name tag was taken off his collar and thrown at the property.

He is microchipped with a southern Irish chip and the details are registered and up to date.

If you know anything about his disappearance please contact Rosemary through the Facebook page www.facebook.com/BRING-Winston-HOME.

Rosemary said: "The family just wants him back. you can contact me anytime and if you want to leave him back somewhere please contact me to arrange a pick up.  Thank you so much. Let’s bring winston home."

Facebook page has been set up - Bring Winston Home with over 550 "likes" since it was launched on 8th October.
