Hundreds braved the bitterly cold weather today to march through the streets of Dungloe in a 'Can't Pay, Won't Pay' protest against the water charges.

Today's protest, which got underway at 1.00pm at the Ostan na Rosann Hotel, has been one of many across the county, and indeed the entire country, in recent weeks.

The crowd sent a very clear message to the government and Enda Kenny chanting 'Can't Pay, Won't Pay' as they made their way around the town.

Micheál Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig of Can't Pay, Won't Pay posted a video to social media showing the hundreds of protestors marching and thanked those who turned out to take a stand and make their voices heard.

This was the first protest against water charges to be held in Dungloe and there was an impressive turn out given the busy time in the run up to Christmas.
