Several hundred from Donegal are expected to join up with thousands of anti-water charge protesters in Dublin today.
Traffic restrictions are in place in Dublin city centre this morning ahead of the planned protest outside Leinster House.
While the numbers are expected to be considerably down on the last major protest, there will be big interest in the size of the demonstration.
Gardaí have urged those taking part in the protest to do so peacefully.
A number of roads will be closed to traffic and there are parking restrictions are in place on Merrion Square.
The main protest organised by the Right2Water group will begin at 1pm.
Most of the protestors from Donegal have travelled up by bus – and some free buses were laid on.
Right2Water has described today's event as "family-friendly" with music and comedy acts.
There will also be feeder marches.
