Parents of hundreds of young girls in Donegal will soon be asked to give their consent for a vaccine designed to protect their daughters from cervical cancer.

But questions have been raised about the possible side-effects of the vaccine called Gardasil, and whether the information being circulated is sufficiently informative.

One local parent has voiced her concerns and is a member of a support group that has been set up.
